“As sailors who had chartered bareboats (un-crewed boats) in numerous locations, we approached our 6-days aboard Pantalasa with a bit of unease: would we feel crowded, or miss the freedom to make our own decisions? These questions were immediately dispelled upon meeting Judit and Nacho, whose company and competence turned out to be a highlight among many highlights of a wonderful experience. They are adept at reading the needs and preferences of their guests; they shared the most perfect of their favorite anchorages, they prepared excellent meals with the simple ingredients available; and they are awesome sailors who generously shared their experiences, with great conversations. The San Blas islands are a treasure, with pristine, unspoiled coral reefs teeming with fish, and the most dazzling shades of blue. Judit and Nacho share a deep respect and understanding of the Kuna culture, and have developed warm and cooperative relationships there. We felt honored to be allowed inside this rare experience, like nothing we had known before. We thought we had gone to San Blas for the sailing itself, and while we certainly were not disappointed, we came away with so much more , not least of which was getting to know our outstanding hosts, who made every moment rich and memorable.”
