On this occasion, we changed, for a few hours, a sailing day in San Blas Islands among palmtree islands and pristine waters for a jungle trekking with its exotic flora and fauna. A Kuna friend of us led us to a wonderful indigenous small village in the San Blas territory, located on top of a small hill and surrounded by a quiet clear river (with freshwater!).
We reached this magic spot after one hour 30 minute walk through a magnificent tropical rainforest and took a refreshing swim. It felt good to live the sudden contrast between the turquoise blue waters of the San Blas islands and the deep green of its dense jungle. A worth and different day exploring San Blas wonders!
