San Blas Sailing
San Blas Sailing Pantalasa started with the intention of taking our guests to the most beautiful and undiscovered islands in the Caribbean Sea. We discoverd the San Blas Islands of Panama some years ago, and were so impressed by the beauty of their white sand beaches, lined with palm trees and magnificent coral reefs, that decided to put together a yacht charter, to share with you the most pristine waters and islands we have ever been to. We have been living in San Blas since then, chartering our 50 foot sailboat and still discovering new wonderful anchorages and amazing uninhabited and virgin islets. There are nearly 365 islands to explore!
Live a unique experience by sailing San Blas with Pantalasa and savor our passion for sailing & cooking! Check out some of the activities you, your family and friends can do on your sailing charter in San Blas:
Explore San Blas by sailing everyday from one island to another. We have carefully selected magic anchorages and islets, only accessible by boat, to grant you a memorable sailing experience. Sail San Blas with Pantalasa and discover the beauty of this archipelago from the unique view of our sailboat. Get ready for the nights on board with the brightest stars you have ever seen.
Experience the adventure of snorkeling in San Blas, one of the most scenic snorkel spots in the world: crystal clear waters, multicolored corals, eagle rays, turtles, trompetfish, schools of tropical fish, and the water temperature, just the right one, 26ºC / 78ºF. Come on board and discover the fascinating marine life of San Blas.
Have you ever caught a fish while sailing? Discover the excitement of fishing in San Blas, one of the most abundant waters: jack fish, mackerel, tuna fish, barracuda, dogfish, are species found on the surface waters, while red snapper, grouper, lobster and crabs, can be found on the ocean bottom. Enjoy trolling from the sailboat while sailing San Blas with Pantalasa. It’s lots of fun!
Visiting Kuna communities
Meet the indigenous Kuna, their traditions, craftwork and villages and discover the fishing skills of the fishermen aboard their wooden “ulu” (canoes). Another good reason for a sailing trip in San Blas.
Trekking in San Blas
Want to change colors for a little while? From the turquoise blue waters of the San Blas Islands to the deep green of the tropical jungle? Let’s go for a morning trek into the rainforest and discover its exotic flora & fauna and a wonderful Kuna village.
Savouring delicious dishes
Sailing San Blas is also an excellent eating experience. We take cooking seriously on our yacht charters and you will have the chance to try on board delicious dishes based on fresh lobsters, king crabs and local fish from the waters of the San Blas Islands, as well as Mediterranean recipes of rice, pasta, vegetables and good vine. Enjoy!
Discover the Kuna indians and their traditions
Guna Yala, the original name, means “Kuna territory” in their language, and its history goes back 500 years before the arrival of the Spanish conquerors, who named it as it is still known today. The San Blas Islands cover 125 miles at the northeastern Caribbean coast of Panama.
